Right use of color plate in design by adobe illustrator. Today we will share some tips to use color plate to making design in illustrator and how can you apply the best method!

We basically used four types of color mode such as grayscale, RGB, HSB, CMYK and most of the time we used RGB and CMYK color mode to making design. When we design images type work, we should apply RGB color plate to getting colorful design. Others we will use CMYK color mode like logo design, background color applied, business card and illustration, HSB color we can use for applying gradient in the design. Because, HSB color brings gradient vibrant look in design.

The most important method in color theory, spot color or grayscale color mode. When you select the color mode example like we used CMYK color mode and also applied red color in the design but, there have four types of color such as cyan, magenta, yellow and black.

How can we bring the color into one color plate?

First of all, you select the color and go to edit menu, you see there have edit color option and click it to getting more options. You have to click convert to grayscale option, other way you see the right option menu and top option is color, simply select the color and there have three dot options you need to click, you will see their new create swatch and click. You can make one color plate by following two methods, but sometimes you need to edit color

How can you do that?

Method same like you will be go to edit option and click the edit color, you will see there have convert to CMYK mode and click it to get access again to change color.
