Adobe Illustrator Basic Tools Tips With Shortcut Key To Learn Beginners

Today we are discussing basic tools of illustrator what we used for making design. You see the left bar is designing tools and also right side tools using to make design.

Three types of direction icon have in the software and they have different task such as we used selection tool for touching some elements or text or selecting something. Direct selection tools you can use directly like some objects have in group or clipping mask condition. Also group selection tool works same like direct selection tool but have special features. You can use shortcut method like selection ( v ) direction selection ( a ) group selection ( 2 ) by keyboard.

Pen tool using to drawing design and you can add anchor point and also can delete anchor point to design. Shortcut key ( p )

Rectangle tool using to make design round shape and round rectangle tool have in the icon. Ellipse tool makes circle shape and polygon tool use to make design 3 anchor or 4 anchor or 5 anchor or 6 anchor as you need. Shortcut key ( m ) ( l )

Rotation tool use to rotate the design and also reflect tool makes the design reflect instantly. Shortcut key ( r ) ( o + enter )

Shape builder tool use to make design something like you can add some elements or you can cut elements among the elements. Shortcut key ( shift + m )

Gradient tool makes the color good and we can apply multiple color through the gradient tool. Shortcut key ( g )

Dimension tool use for taking measurement into the design and this tool helpful to make mock up design like you need approval some design easily you make the design with size mention.

Easily pick up the color from design or images by eyedropper tool. We can easily found out the color code by using this tool. Shortcut key( i )

Artboard tool using to resize the layout and we can change the artboard size and add new extra pages in one artboard. Shortcut key ( shift + o )

Hand and zoom tool both use to see the design error and quality. Shortcut key ( z )
